# Make a template once. Send it as often as you like.

Put fields in with a text tag or let Docustay find them. Keep the result as a template, send it to one person or a list, and choose the order, the reminders and the deadline.

## A field is a line of text.

Write the field where it belongs. The first part is its name; the rest are key=value pairs.

## Upload a PDF. Press Find fields.

Uploading never places boxes by itself. Press Find fields and Docustay reads the page the way a person would, then proposes signature lines, dates, initials and text lines. Nothing is placed until you accept it.

- A scanned page is read by character recognition on the server, in English.
- The optional Find fields with AI button is shown only where AI is turned on.

## A library, your own templates, or a sentence.

**The template library.** More than 50 free templates, from an NDA to a lease addendum. Make your own copy and change it.

**Your templates.** Keep a document as a template with its people and fields in place. Send it again with one click or one API call.

**Scribe.** Describe the document in plain words and review what Scribe builds.

## One person, many people, in order or all at once.

**Send to a list.** Upload a spreadsheet and each row gets its own copy and its own signed record. Free sends to up to 15 at a time.

**Signing order.** Name each person and choose whether they sign one at a time or all at once. Each box belongs to one person.

**Reminders and expiry.** Pick when reminders go out and when the document expires. Reminders stop once everyone has signed.

## Questions

**Do I have to use text tags?**

No. You can place boxes by hand in the editor, or press Find fields. Tags are for when you write the document yourself or send it from code.

**Can the sender fill in a box before sending?**

Yes. A box marked filled by sender is answered before you send, and the signer sees the answer and cannot change it.

**Is sending to a list on every plan?**

Yes. Free sends to up to 15 at a time.
