What you control

Four things that carry your name.

01

Logo and colour

Documents and the signing page carry your logo and your brand colour.

02

Welcome note

A short note at the top of the signing page, in your words.

03

Your name on every email

Every email goes out under your sender name, with your reply-to address, so replies come to you.

04

Letterhead and address

Your address line and footer text appear where a document needs them.

In the signer's inbox

It reads as coming from you.

The email, the signing page and the certificate show your name, your logo and your colour. A small line says the document was sent with Docustay.

FIG. 01 · THE EMAIL A SIGNER GETS · SAMPLE DATA

Fully white-labelled

Need no Docustay mark at all?

To embed Docustay in your own product, resell it or keep a private fork, you need a commercial licence, from about $3,000 a year. A self-hosted install can also remove the footer and send from its own domain, mailbox or mail server.

  • The hosted service always shows the Docustay line on signed copies.
  • Self-host: remove the footer yourself, and use your own mail server.

Set it up

Three steps to your own look.

1 / 3

Add your logo

Upload your logo under Settings, Branding, and pick your brand colour.

2 / 3

Write a welcome note

A line or two at the top of the signing page, such as who is asking and why.

3 / 3

Send a test

Send a document to yourself with a test key and check the email, the signing page and the certificate.

FIG. 04 · WHAT STAYS

Or go further

Embed it, or run it yourself.

01

Embedded signing

Show the signer inside your own product so there is no Docustay page at all.

02

Self-host

Run the whole product on your own server under the AGPL-3.0, with your own domain, mail server and footer. A commercial licence covers resale and a private fork.

Questions

Quick answers.

Is branding on Free?

Yes. Your logo, colour, welcome note, sender name and reply-to address are on every plan.

Can I remove the Docustay footer?

Not on the hosted service. A self-hosted install can, and a commercial licence covers a fully white-labelled product.

Can I embed instead?

Yes. Embedded signing shows the signer inside your own product.

Does branding cost extra?

No. Your logo, colour, welcome note, sender name and reply-to address are on every plan.

Can one document have its own subject and message?

Yes. On the Details step of a send you can change the subject and the message for that document alone, and from the API you can set the reply-to address and the sender name.

Make it yours.
